How long will I have access to the uSource portal

Short-term (Session) Access

If you log in to uSource from a secure workstation, you will remain logged in for 8 hours before you are prompted to renew your uSource connection.

If you log in to uSource from an insecure workstation, you will remain logged in for 2 hours before you are prompted to renew your uSource connection.

Long-term Access

You will continue to have access to the uSource Portal as long as your NetLink ID remains active (i.e. you remain eligible to have a NetLink ID).

Your NetLink ID eligbility is dependent on your classification at UVic:

• Undergraduate Student
• Graduate Student
• Continuing Studies Student
• Faculty & Staff
