TIL Support Desk
The TIL Support Desk is the ONLY technical support service set up to support distance students and instructors in distance courses at UVic. If you are in a distance course but contact the wrong UVic technical service unit, they will redirect or forward your message to us. For fastest results, you should direct all of your technical questions/problems to the TIL Support Desk.
Using Mobile Devices for Your Courses
If you are planning on accessing your online courses using a mobile device such as a tablet or a smartphone, please note that not all required course features will be accessible with these devices. Your mobile devices can be used to access some of your online course tools; however, to fully function in your online courses, you will need to have access to a computer running Windows or MacOS. Please see the “Computer Requirements” page for complete support details.
